We want to make – and believe most people want to eat – ice creams where flavours are intense and not cluttered with aftertastes from cheap “tastes-like” artificial additives. Chocolate should be intensely chocolatey, pistachio shouldn’t taste like almonds, subtle flavour combinations should work in tandem without overpowering one another.
We believe great-tasting products can be made from simple, quality ingredients and we care about where they're sourced. Very likely, if one can’t pronounce a multisyllabic chemical, it probably shouldn’t be an ingredient in our products. We aim to use fresh, natural, and fairly-traded ingredients wherever possible, including free-range eggs and natural flavourings and colourings. We take the time to visit our suppliers, be it for free-range eggs, honey, fruit, and, if possible, the cows. But because we strive to purchase fresh fruits from local farms when they’re at their flavour peak, some of our ingredients are seasonal and some of our flavours are seasonal. So if you have a yen for damson ice cream in December, it’s likely we won’t be able to pick or purchase fresh damsons then so we won’t make it then. Nevertheless, there'll be plenty of other flavours to choose from and the list is growing all the time as fans submit ideas for new flavours (please CONTACT US & your suggestion could earn you some free ice cream! ) and we find reliable sources producing quality ingredients.
We believe ice cream and sorbet should feel dense, not fluffy, and exceptionally smooth and rich in your mouth. Our products are artisanal: handcrafted in small batches with inclusions and other ingredients like our chocolate chunks, ripples, or lemon curd all handmade by us.
This all costs more, but we believe the final products make it all worth it. Because our fans are worth it!
OUR ICE CREAM & SORBET FLAVOURS
Basically, they fall into 3 ranges and vary frequently:
A core group of flavours, e.g. Mad vanilla, OMG chocolate, espresso, honey lavender, mango & lime we aim to have available regularly.
These aren't available all the time because their ingredients from local farms are seasonal - think damsons, strawberries, or raspberries - or their eating is seasonal - think mustard, haggis, or egg nog. We aim to make flavours that are always fresh, so our seasonal flavours rotate in and out with the season.
OUT OF THE SCOOP
These are ones we’ve been curious about trying, have been suggested by you (our fans), and/or our Frequent Scoopers have voted for. Some of these are GREAT, while others we’ll write are just “interesting.” Some have been so well received that we rotate them in as more regular flavours.

Our products are unique, not mass marketed, for discerning palates. You won't find us on every street corner retailer, but you will in some fine food purveyors.
